How to Enter
Step 1 : Choose your category - if you are not sure about which category to choose, visit our categories explained section.
Step 2 : Then click the enter now button, select your category, pay your £150 entry fee and complete all the relevant details about your company. We also require from you, authorisation from a senior member of your company, Director or Board Member.
Every firm that enters and completes the entry requirements, will receive its own in-depth employee satisfaction survey. This in-depth survey is compiled from all the responses from your own employees. These reports have become a valued part of the HR function for many previous entrants, and will give every firm plenty of ideas about how their employees feel they could improve - as well as identifying what they like about working there.
Step 3: You will be sent a questionnaire in 2 parts - the first part looks at your company and size; the second part, a link is sent to you for you to send to all your employees. For those who do not have internet access, we can provide a hard paper copy to complete. This is where the research process actually starts. Please do encourage your employees to complete all sections of the survey. This process of collecting your employee responses will continue until the closing date. Completing the questionnaires only take a few minutes of your time and all employee comments will be completely anonymous. We will also keep you informed on how you are progressing towards your benchmark number of responses needed for your company size.
You will also receive, as part of your entry fee:
- 10 free jobs of your choice placed onto the Contract Journal Recruitment Construction website. This will remain on the website for six months from date of entry (worth £1,250).
- Your employer profile also placed on the Contract Journal Recruitment Construction website with your company logo and a 'click through' to your corporate website (worth £500).
- The opportunity to purchase half price advertising.
Step 4 : After the closing date of 15th April 2009, all firms will be ranked according to their performance, and a shortlist will be drawn up. Even if you do not make the shortlist you will still receive your tailor made in-depth report on your company if you reach the benchmark for your company size.
Once you have received confirmation via email into the entry process we will contact you regarding your company and employee questionnaires and job advertisements within one week of signing up.
The earlier you enter, the more time you will have to encourage all employees to complete these, reach your benchmark and therefore ensuring your company report and entry into the awards.
Reed Business Insight undertakes the employee opinion survey on behalf of Contract Journal and remains completely independent throughout the entire research process. All research commissioned by clients is undertaken on a strictly confidential basis. Reed Business Insight's team of market research professionals have a wealth of experience across different business markets.
Step 5: We will then contact you to let you know if you have made the shortlist.
The final winners of each of the categories will be revealed at the awards luncheon on 17th June 2009, at Lords Cricket Ground, in front of colleagues and peers from the industry.
Step 6: For everyone reaching the benchmark number of responses, you will receive your tailor-made company report in July 2008.
